These are unmarked, leisurely tours that lead through our beautiful, varied landscape. Of course, if you want to discover something in nature, you have to venture out into it. And so many of the trails are also close to nature: there may be the odd mullerian spot. Or a tractor has just driven along it. After all, you share these paths with our farmers, foresters and horse riders.
But if you take the path - sorry, the six paths - you will discover many beautiful things. What are you waiting for? By the way, you can easily reach five of the six trails with the Regio S-Bahn.
Tour 2:
Your starting point here is also Etelsen station, but this time you enter the town on the southern side. The "Jan Wind" windmill, castle and castle park (please push your bikes here) are well worth a visit. Cycle further south, cross the "Alte Aller" and the lock canal and turn right after the bridge. After a good 1 km, turn left into the marshland of the Weser and you will see a road with fruit trees, a rare sight these days. You can make a detour to the ferry "Gentsiet" at weekends from May 1 to October 3, or you can take the "Eselsweg" directly to the Drosselhof.
It goes back to Hagen - Grinden, past the oil mill, and then after about 1 km there is an old castle complex on the left. A plaque provides information about the special features of this place. Continue through the middle of the marsh via Försten with its riding stables to the canal bridge, where the passenger boat docks are located. If you are not taking the boat, turn left after the bridge, but turn around again to enjoy the view of St. Sigismund's Church in Daverden high above the Weser valley.
You cycle via Alt - Cluvenhagen and the Wurtdamm, cross the main road, then take the Kuckucksweg, turn left at the end and cycle back to Etelsen.
You can also find the Langwedeler Schatzsuche-Tour 2 at Komoot.
