On well-maintained and signposted cycle paths through moorland, forest and meadows around the Große Aue and Weser, you will experience pure relaxation. The extensive range of restaurants and cafés offer refreshment and refreshment on all stages. The starting and finishing point is the market square in Steyerberg. Right at the start, you pass the historic center of Steyerberg with Jacobiinsel, Auebrücke, Amtshof and Meyersiek'scher Mahl- und Sägemühle. Passing the ecological model settlement "Lebensgarten", you reach an extensive wooded area, the Januarsberg. The viewpoint there is worth a short detour.

The route continues into the Eichenkratt nature reserve with its bizarrely grown trees. From Deblinghausen, you reach Düdinghausen and Sarninghausen via the Große Aue. On the way back to Steyerberg, you can take the ascent via the Hexentreppe to the Knappsberg viewpoint.
