Auebrücke

Historical structure
The stone Aue Bridge is one of the 125 oldest stone bridges of its kind in Germany.
It is a three-arched sandstone bridge, which was built in 1726 on behalf of the then Elector of Hanover and King of England, George I. It spans one of the two arms of the river "Aue", which flows around Jacobiinsel and is still used for traffic today.

The Aue flows around Jacobiinsel and is dammed in the area of Meyersiek'sche Mühle
