A very special cycle route has been developed to bring cyclists and other visitors closer to the sights in the Mittelweser joint municipality and at the same time provide for the physical well-being of guests: The LandGenuss-Route. This 90 km long cycle tour leads through idyllic villages and a charming landscape.
It passes interesting sights such as the Schinna monastery with its unique half-timbered church, the village of Estorf with the historic "Schünebusch" barn quarter (tip: cycle barn!) and the half-timbered church with neo-Gothic brick tower, the golden village of Brokeloh with the manor and the Bickbeernhof, the village of Landesbergen with its historic mill square and the wedding windmill, which can be seen from afar, as well as the Spieker. In Leese, the local history museum and the ensemble around the church with the historic draw well are a real attraction. And in Stolzenau, the St. Jacobi church with its twisted church tower is an outstanding sight. The historic town center is home to stores and restaurants. There is also a camper van site, a campsite and a landing stage for passenger ships.
The LandGenuss-Route leads past farm cafés, restaurants that work with regional producers and the Bickbeernhof Brokeloh with its adjoining café. From mid-June to September, the farm offers everything to do with blueberries, including guided tours of the plantations and the opportunity to pick the sweet fruit yourself.
The LandGenussRoute can also be found at Komoot.
