LandGenussRoute Mittelweser

To introduce cyclists and other visitors to the sights of the Mittelweser joint municipality while also providing refreshments for guests, a very special bike trail was developed: the LandGenuss Route. This 90-kilometer bike tour winds through idyllic villages and charming countryside.

It passes interesting sights such as Schinna Abbey with its unique half-timbered church, the village of Estorf with the historic “Schünebusch” barn district (Tip: Radlerscheune!), and the half-timbered church with its neo-Gothic brick tower; the “Golden Village” of Brokeloh with its manor house and the Bickbeernhof; the town of Landesbergen with its historic mill square and the wedding windmill visible from afar, as well as the Spieker. In Leese, the local history museum and the complex surrounding the church with its historic draw well are major attractions. And in Stolzenau, St. Jacobi Church with its twisted steeple is a standout attraction. In the historic town center, shops and restaurants invite visitors to stop by. There is also a RV park, a campground, and a pier for passenger boats.

The LandGenuss Route passes farm cafés, restaurants, and the Bickbeernhof Brokeloh with its attached café. From mid-June through September, everything here revolves around blueberries, including farm tours through the plantations and the chance to pick the sweet berries yourself.
