St. Martin's Church, a former monastery church, has stood in the middle of Nendorf for over 800 years. Remains of the Benedictine convent can still be seen next to the church. Its exterior shows traces of an eventful history of construction and conversion. The convent came to an end in 1525. In 1787, the church was rebuilt in neoclassical style and the current tower was added.
