Pfarrbusch Steyerberg

The Pfarrbusch is a forest and recreational area near Steyerberg. The "Langhorst Kuhlengraben" (Beeke) meanders through the forest. The paths are used by many walkers, joggers and Nordic walking enthusiasts. The local heritage association looks after and maintains the hiking trails as well as the pavilion, signs and benches. The pavilion in the Pfarrbusch was built in 1934 by the Heimatfreunde. Back then, it was an attraction for families. Today it is still a resting place for hikers and walkers. The circular route leads through the Pfarrbusch and Märchenwald, past the Klappermühle, to the pavilion and back to the starting point on Sportallee.
