Right and left of the Hache. Start: "Am Neddernfeld" in Lahausen

We cross Lahauser Straße and enter the field path to the right of the riding stables. We are guided by the pilgrim's sign, an arrow on a blue background. We walk towards Barrien, passing the farewell stone made of Obernkirchen sandstone, on which a scallop shell is emblazoned. Here we leave the Weyher area.

The Hache lies to our left and we come very close to it at one point. Almost in Barrien, we cross the river and turn left into "Im Brook" for the way back. We walk back, bypass two farmsteads and arrive at another riding stables. Here we keep left, cross the Hache again and finally come back to our original route. The path is mostly unpaved and can be very muddy, but also sandy and uneven, as people also ride horses here - so wear sturdy shoes.

We often see deer, with luck gray and white herons, buzzards and kites, and in spring and autumn also cranes on migration. The view can wander into the distance. We are here on the Jacobsweg, a section from Bremen to Osnabrück; if we follow the path, we will end up in Santiago de Compostela, the end point of the Jacobsweg, after 1250 kilometers; all we have to do is follow the pilgrim's sign. This walk can easily be combined with the previous one, which is about 9 km. To do this, simply continue along the road "Im Brook" until you reach Lahauser Straße. You then have to follow the cycle path a little to the left, cross the road at the last farmstead in Jeebel and turn into the field path opposite.

You can also find the tour at Komoot.
