The glass balloon blower Anton Weiser was the model for the bronze sculpture on the corner of Lange Straße and Burgmannshof. The life-size sculpture, created in 1989, is a gift from the traditional company "Nienburger Glas" to the citizens of the town on the occasion of the company's 100th anniversary in 1991. The sculptor Kurt Tasotti shows the production of a glass balloon.
