Sculpture
The life-size sculpture depicts Calenberger Bur, the "country boy".
The origin is an alternating song with the Little Nienburgerin, symbolic figure of the town of Nienburg (see also sculpture "Kleine Nienburgerin"). Around 1900, the song "Die Kleine Nienburgerin" was very well known in the town and the surrounding area. It was even played on the radio.
