Schlossplatz

The former castle of the Counts of Hoya stood on the corner of the square. Tournaments were held here, where knights, noblemen, castle men etc. met. Later, the square served as a parade ground for the stationed garrisons. Various barracks buildings were built, which were later demolished.

Today, only the tower of the count's castle remains. The square is used as a parking lot. An electronics store is also located here.
