On the Aller dyke (Klusdamm) on the right is the viewing platform from which you can enjoy the unique city panorama with the cathedral (landmark of the city of Verden), St. Andrew's Church, St. John's Church and the town hall. Horses often graze in the foreground on the meadows between the two arms of the Aller river. An information board describes the sights and provides an overview of the town's history.
