From Verden on the L 158 via Dauelsen, Förth in the direction of Langwedel-Achim. After crossing the railroad tracks, you will reach Langwedel on "Große Straße". After approx. 700 m, turn right into the street "Am Rathaus" and then immediately left into the town hall parking lot. This is the start and finish.
From Achim via Etelsen, Cluvenhagen, Daverden to Langwedel. After approx. 800 m on the main road, you will reach the town hall on the left-hand side. Parking is also available in front of the schools on the right-hand side.
The town of Langwedel offers a signposted Nordic walking route through the Langwedeler, Eisseler and Daverden marshes. The flat, asphalted route is 7.8 km long. Please allow 1.5-2 hours for the tour.
You also have the opportunity to "climb" the dyke at the Weser Canal and watch the passing ships. Also worth mentioning is the fantastic view of the church and the edge of the slope near the village of Daverden. The interesting route also offers a historic avenue of fruit trees and leads past two newer wetland biotopes. For visitors from out of town, we recommend traveling by train, as you can of course also start from Langwedel train station.
