Go on a treasure hunt! We have created six short circular cycle routes, none longer than 20 km.

These are unmarked, leisurely tours that lead through our beautiful, varied landscape. Of course, if you want to discover something in nature, you have to venture out into it. And so many of the trails are also close to nature: there may be the odd mullerian spot. Or a tractor has just driven along it. After all, you share these paths with our farmers, foresters and horse riders.

But if you take the path - sorry, the six paths - you will discover many beautiful things. What are you waiting for? By the way, you can easily reach five of the six trails with the Regio S-Bahn.

Tour 6:

The best place to start is in romantic Haberloh, the smallest village in Langwedel; there are more animals here than inhabitants! Here, too, you can marvel at a "Häuslingshaus"  almost in its original state, which was also used as a country home by the Bremen Wandervögeln between 1914 and 1945. Follow the Haberloher Dorfstraße; feel how the large oak trees give you shelter, but before you do, be sure to take a look at the extensive and beautifully laid out pastures of the Fährhof stud farm. At the end of the village, cycle on to Allerdorf, a typical moorland settlement as laid out by the moorland colonizer Findorff.

The ditches once marked the boundaries of the small cultivation sites. Follow Ottersberger Straße, turn left before Völkersen and follow this path, which also leads you to the overgrown oak tree. Cross Haberloher Straße and bypass Völkersen to the north. Then take the cycle path along Rotenburger Straße. At the top of the hill, take a look around and enjoy the sweeping view almost as far as Bremen.

Then continue and turn left into Spanger Forst just before the B 215. Take the first path in the forest on the right to get to Heidkrug. Turn left again up to Forsthaus Spange with its forest adventure trail, idyllically situated in the middle of the forest. Turn left, then right, and then you can enjoy the main path through Spanger Forst with its forest scent; it is simply beautiful here! At the end of the forest, keep left along the field path to get back to Haberloh.

Of course, this route can also be used as a circular route from Heidkrug. To cycle this route from Langwedel as well, you will need to add 4 km in each case.

The Langwedel Treasure Hunt Tour 6 can also be found at Komoot.
