Brokser Rundweg (Tour 7)

The village of Bruchhausen-Vilsen has around 40 km of marked hiking trails. The combination of different paths creates circular routes of various lengths (Tour 1-Tour 7). It goes through gentle hills, fields, lush meadows past streams and through unspoiled nature around Bruchhausen-Vilsen.

The diversity of nature and the charms of the seasons make these trails tours of discovery. Refreshment stops, places of interest and special features are included in the respective tour descriptions. The routes are easy to recognize thanks to the signposting and generally lead along easily accessible paths.

Tour 7 Brokser Rundweg from the i-Punkt/TourismusService at the train station through the pastures to the main melioration canal and back through Bruchhausen (7.5 km, markings: 6 circles and tree):

Special features: Museum railroad, water trail, biotopes, main melioration canal and ancillary facilities.

The hiking trail leads from the i-Punkt/TourismusService at the train station through Lange Straße past the town hall. Turn left at the traffic lights and shortly afterwards follow the road "Zu den Weiden" to the right. The route continues to the main canal of the Melioration, once the largest irrigation and drainage system in Europe. We follow the canal until we reach Tour 5 Schlossweg (markings: Burg/Schloss), which takes us through Bruchhausen to the starting point.
