In a beautiful location on the Bergstrasse, five old storage barns form a small barn quarter. Two of the barns in this historic and architecturally powerful ensemble from the 18th century have since lost their original agricultural function.
The barns have been renovated and converted into a cultural center under the direction of the association for the preservation of the barn quarter. The association regularly organizes socio-cultural events in the rooms.
Barn districts are special gems of rural building culture. For fear of devastating fires, most of the barns were built outside villages between 1700 and 1800 and provided space for storage and shelter. Today, the individual barn quarters offer space for a wide variety of uses.
