Half-timbered house
Historical building
Ensemble of 10 half-timbered barns.
In a grove on the outskirts of Wellie, 10 of the former 15 barns still stand. They are half-timbered and are now used as storage rooms. The threshing barn dates back to 1932 and there is an adventure playground next to it.

Barn districts are special gems of rural building culture. For fear of devastating fires, most of the barns were built outside villages between 1700 and 1800 and provided space for storage and shelter. Today, the individual barn quarters offer space for a wide variety of uses.
