Rosengarten

Park
The rose garden, which was established in 1925, covers an area of 5,400 square meters in the middle of the city.
At the time, 5,000 roses of 50 varieties were planted. The Worpswede garden architect Max Karl Schwarz redesigned and extended the garden in 1964. Roses continue to dominate the garden on an area of around 430 square meters. Perennials, summer flowers, flowering shrubs and park trees were also added.
