Bürgerpark Verden

It gradually took on its present form from 1928. The memorial to the homeland in the former German eastern territories dates from 1955. Today, around 9.7 kilometers of paths run through the Bürgerpark. The areas consist of approx. 2.5 hectares of woodland, approx. 2.2 hectares of lawn and approx. 1.5 hectares of shrubland.
 
The Bürgerpark offers a playground, a street soccer and beach volleyball field, two boules courts, a calisthenics facility and a fenced dog exercise area.
