Rittergut Donnerhorst mit Gutspark

The park has a simple design. An old oak-lined avenue leads up to the manor house. In front of the manor house is a circular lawn with a rose bed. An avenue of linden trees and an avenue of sugar maples lead into the rest of the park. Between the avenues are large lawns dotted with individual oak and beech trees. At the edge of the approximately 4-hectare park, there are views of the adjacent meadows and the Aller lowlands.

The restored garden hall at the Donnerhorst manor can be used for wedding ceremonies. The outdoor grounds, including the park, can be used for wedding photos by arrangement (Dörverden Registry Office, Tel. 04234-39981).
