The outlines can be seen in the pavement in front of the Quaet-Faslem House museum building.
In 1994, the remains of the southern city gate, the Leintor, from the late Middle Ages were discovered. The four three-storey Nienburg town gates were named Norder-, Weser-, Mühlen- and Leintor.
