Hügelgräber Wöpse

The oldest evidence of the settlement of Bruchhausen-Vilsen can be found on the edge of the Geest near Bruchmühlen and in the Wöpser Bergen: clearly recognizable burial mounds from the Bronze and Iron Ages. They are 1 to 1.5 meters high and have a diameter of up to 15 meters.
