Bahnhof Hoya

Historical building
Stop of the historic railcar "Kaffkieker" on the Eystrup-Hoya-Bruchhausen-Vilsen-Syke line.
In 1881, Hoya was connected to the Bremen-Hanover line, which had existed since 1847, via the seven-kilometer railroad line to Eystrup. The current station was built around 1900. The Hoya-Syke-Asendorf narrow-gauge railway line was opened on June 1, 1900.
Today, the tracks are used for freight transport by Verkehrsbetriebe Grafschaft Hoya (VGH) and by "Kaffkieker".
