The beautiful villa was built in 1829 by a lawyer.
Over the years, it was occupied by a doctor and a cigar manufacturer before the DRK hospital was set up here during World War I. From 1930 to 1993, the building housed Achim's town hall. Today part of the local court is housed here. Directly behind it is the adjoining town hall park - an oasis for young and old: winding paths, magnificent old trees, historical monuments, benches to rest on, a modern play area for children, fitness equipment and a boules court.
