Amtsgericht Achim

The Achim district court is still located here today. The entrance to the district court is a beautiful old wooden door with simple ornaments. The prison behind the district court was used as a penal institution until 2012. To the left of the district court, a fountain from 1793 has been uncovered and restored thanks to donations ("Hungerbrunnen").
