Alte Schule Sonnenborstel

There was a schoolmaster in Sonnenborstel as early as 1741, and the wealthy farmers of the village probably built the small half-timbered building in the village center as a school around this time. Later used as a cemetery chapel, the old school was renovated in 2000/01 and now serves as the village community center.
