Historical building
The current building was built in 1904-1906 as a royal grammar school by Hans Stever.
The gable was built in the Weser Renaissance style. The origins of the school go back to the bourgeois Latin school during the Reformation period.

Concerts and recitals are held in the historic Giebelsaal, which seats 185 people, thanks to its special acoustics. Information: www.theater.nienburg.de
