Tourist information of the town of Nienburg/Weser
Around 1750, the "Feldmedicus" Polycarp Leporin lived in the former town house built around 1700. He was the brother of Germany's first female doctor: Dorothea Erxleben, née Leporin. Today, the building houses the Mittelweser-Touristik GmbH tourist information office.

There is an information terminal in the foyer of the tourist information office. This is accessible during opening hours. Another information terminal is located in front of the tourist information office on Lange Straße.
