Historical building

Town hall
The current town hall was built in 1914 as the district hall of the former Hoya district in Art Nouveau style.
When the district was dissolved in 1932, the building became a vocational school. After another district reform in 1977, the former district hall came into the possession of the district of Nienburg/Weser, which handed it over to the Samtgmeinde Grafschaft Hoya, which has used it as a town hall since June 1980. The town's council cellar stood on the same site, probably since 1708, where all the important decisions of the town of Hoya were made and which held the monopoly on serving wine, beer and spirits.

There are public toilets in the town hall building.
