Mohrhoff-Haus

Mohrhoff was the founder of the "Concordia" insurance company. In 1862, he published his "Thoughts on insurance against fire risks" in the "Hoyaer Wochenblatt". The first meeting of "Concordia" took place in 1864. Mohrhoff was mayor of Hoya from 1869 to 1872 and held 16 other leading positions.
