Half-timbered house
Historical building
The corner house on Weserstraße is considered one of the most beautiful half-timbered houses in the city.
This old bourgeois farmstead was built in 1541 with extensive barns and stables. Massive vaulted cellars as well as the ground floor rooms were used to store goods. The total of five storeys can be clearly recognized by the overhanging ceilings. The date "1674" in the brickwork on Weserstrasse testifies to a conversion in the Baroque period. The large gateway used to be on Lange Straße. Today, this building houses a bakery.
