The permanent exhibition deals with the Liebenau powder factory, the construction of which was decided in 1938 as part of the National Socialist rearmament program. The operating company EIBIA GmbH employed thousands of forced laborers from Western and Eastern Europe.
The focus of the permanent exhibition is on the history of the factory and the people who worked there involuntarily and died in large numbers. Technical aspects of powder production and the subsequent use of the factory site are also presented in a separate section.
