Residence of Anita Augspurg (1857-1943)
Germany's first female lawyer with a doctorate spent her youth in this classicist house. Born in Verden, she fought for equal rights for women. In 1915, she was one of the founders of the International Women's League for Peace and Freedom. In 1933, the pacifist escaped into exile in Zurich. She died there in 1943 and was buried in Fluntern cemetery.
