The Jünger Villa is another building designed by Ernst Meßwarb.
The villa and the park with its ancient rhododendrons are listed buildings.
The family of writer Ernst Jünger (1895-1998) lived in this house from 1907 to 1919. This is how it got the name "Jünger Villa". The house is privately owned and can only be viewed from the outside.

His participation in the First World War shaped his literary work. He is known for his war memoirs such as "In Stahlgewittern".
Jünger received various prizes and awards, including the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. On his 70th birthday  in 1965, Ernst Jünger was made an honorary citizen by the town of Rehburg-Loccum 

His brother Friedrich Georg later wrote the book "Grüne Zweige" (Green Branches) with childhood memories of his years in Rehburg.

Wilhelm and Ernst Meßwarb, architects and mayors of the municipality of Rehburg from 1878 to 1938, designed an architectural style that characterizes the townscape: clock and fire station tower, municipal building school/town hall, fountain, local history museum, police station and other private buildings, including the design for the villa.including the design for the villa of the writer Ernst Jünger (In Stahlgewittern and others), who is an honorary citizen of the town of Rehburg Loccum.
