The building belonged to the treasury until 1888 and served as the residence of the 2nd district clerk of the Bruchhausen district until it was sold. It then became the headquarters of the melioration cooperative, which managed the entire Eyterbruch between Hoya, Bruchhausen-Vilsen, Syke and Thedinghausen from here until 1963. It has been privately owned since 1978 following renovation and conversion. An outside tour is possible.
