Denkstätte Wittich-Eiche

Wittich was a senior forester, forest scientist and soil scientist. He taught at the Eberswalde Forestry Academy and at the Grorg-August University of Göttingen.
In 1961, with the support of 30 students, the professor began extensive forestry and soil science studies at the transition from the high Geest to the Weserbruch.
