Kleinbahnweg (Tour 2)

The village of Bruchhausen-Vilsen has around 40 km of marked hiking trails. The combination of different paths (Tour 1-Tour 7) creates circular routes of various lengths. It goes through gentle hills, fields, lush meadows past streams and through unspoiled nature around Bruchhausen-Vilsen.

The diversity of nature and the charms of the seasons make these trails tours of discovery. Refreshment stops, places of interest and special features are included in the respective tour descriptions. The routes are easy to recognize thanks to the signposting and generally lead along paths that are easy to walk on.

Tour 2 Kleinbahnweg from the "Wiehe" stop to Dille (3 km, markings: steam locomotive):

Special features: Wiehe baths, spa gardens, miniature golf, fitness trail, Kneipp outdoor area, historic trains on the narrow-gauge railway line at weekends from May 1 to October 3.

From the "Wiehe" stop at the Wiehe baths, the trail leads to the entrance of the spa gardens. From here, the trail leads west along the "Vilser Holz". On the other side of the narrow-gauge railroad, we continue parallel to the track through meadows and fields to Heiligenberg station and the "Dillertal" restaurant. From there, you can return via Tour 1 Mönchsweg (marked Mönch) or on weekends from 1 May to 3 October with the museum railroad.
