Heemsen-Blaue Strecke

The routes are located near the B 215 Nienburg - Verden. Drive to Rohrsen, take the 1st right towards Heemsen into "Alter Kirchweg", after approx. 1.2 km you will reach the Heemsen school center on the right-hand side.

The joint municipality of Heemsen, consisting of the municipalities of Drakenburg, Haßbergen, Heemsen and Rohrsen, is located in a scenic area characterized by the alternating marshland of the Weser floodplain in the west and partly wooded areas of the slightly higher Geest in the east.

In a central location in the joint municipality, two interconnected Nordic walking trails with a total length of 7.8 km have been developed. The start and finish point is the school center in Heemsen, where there are also plenty of parking spaces available. The route runs along local farm tracks through both open fields and attractive woodland areas.
