- Location: The RV park is located in Rehburg-Loccum next to a donkey pasture with Baudet du Poitou donkeys.
You’ll spend the night on a meadow next to the donkey pasture, near the coastal marshes. Animal sounds, such as the braying of the donkeys or the crowing of roosters, may be heard on site. The site is suitable for one or more overnight stays and serves as a starting point for hikes, bike rides, or mountain bike tours.
A few kilometers away is the Steinhuder Meer, which offers many tourist attractions.
A guided tour of the farm is available by arrangement. During the tour, guests gain insights into the care of the Baudet du Poitou donkeys.
Rehburg-Loccum is a town in the southeastern part of the Nienburg/Weser district and, with a population of just over 10,000, is the district’s second-largest town. Attractions in the immediate vicinity include Loccum Abbey, Dinopark, Romantik Bad Rehburg, Lake Steinhuder Meer, ÖSSM, the local history museum, and the Wilhelmsturm.
