Windmühle "Margarethe" Eystrup

Windmill
Special wedding venue
The mill with its truncated cone-shaped superstructure stands on a natural hill.
Eystrup's gallery Dutch windmill, which was built on a high sand dune in 1861, can be seen from afar. The technology consists of two windmills and one motorized mill. The monument named "Margarethe" - traditionally named after the grandmother of its builder - is owned by the Schneermann family. The "Eystrup Mill Day" takes place on Whit Monday.

A wedding room has been set up in the windmill to allow couples from near and far to get married in a historic setting. In the lower mill room, a function room for around 30 people has been created in conjunction with the Eystrup local history association, where the "yes" to marriage can be pronounced.
