The market fair opens its doors on Fridays from 6 p.m. and ends late in the evening with a fireworks display at around 10 p.m. The official market opening takes place on Saturdays at 10.00 a.m., traditionally with a free beer tapping at the town hall.

Numerous different rides, show and sales stores provide entertainment and, of course, food and drink and a good atmosphere are also provided. You can dance and party in the festival tents until the early hours of the morning.

You can pick up a bargain or two at the flea market and the latest car models are presented on the town hall square.

The Pingelheini museum train runs from Leeste to Thedinghausen and back on Saturday and Sunday. You can find the timetable and more information at www.pingelheini.de.
