Paulsberg Primary School is located in a building steeped in history: a former cigar factory.

 Two Bremen manufacturers "Dreyer" and "Prollius" set up one of the first Achim cigar factories here in 1853, taking advantage of the tax benefits of the Kingdom of Hanover.
