One person holds a platter of jacket potatoes, matjes, ham and a generous portion of cream sauce.

Jacket potatoes with matjes are served under the open sky as part of the target shooting.

 In Nienburg's old town on Lange Straße stands what used to be one of the longest jacket potato tables in the world: approx. 250 meters long, covered with "real porcelain" and fine tablecloths. Around 700 kg of potatoes and 7,000 matjes fillets are served by local landlords from 6 pm. Delicious bacon dip and cream sauce are of course not missing. Refreshing drinks and music on several stages along the table round off the spectacle.
